Hope of Heaven Church
Proudly affiliated with the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada, is a warm and welcoming community dedicated to nurturing deep connections among individuals through the life-changing principles of knowing, loving, and serving God. We believe in the beauty of diversity and strive to bring together people from all walks of life in a shared journey of worship and understanding. In our vibrant fellowship, we create a safe space where everyone can embark on their personal faith journey, deepening their relationship with Jesus Christ at their own pace. With heartfelt worship, earnest prayers, and meaningful shared services, we invite all to experience a genuine sense of belonging and acceptance. Laxman Gurung,
and Family
My name is Laxman Gurung, and I am honored to call Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada, my home. It is a blessing to share my life with my wonderful wife, Heera Gurung, and our two beautiful children, Divine Lax Gurung and Delight Angel Gurung. Together, we serve as pastors of Hope of Heaven Nepali Church and support three other congregations. Since receiving my ministry license through the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada in 2018, I have dedicated myself to deepening my understanding of faith. I completed my Associate of Divinity, earning a bachelor’s degree in divinity. My faith journey began in 2005 when I accepted Jesus, and Heera encountered Him in 2009. The formation of Hope of Heaven Church in 2011, initiated by a simple housing meeting led by Pastor Heera, marked a significant turning point in our spiritual lives. Since then, we have been privileged to plant two churches—one in Nepal and another in Saskatoon. As pastors, we recognize the vital role of nurturing a spirit grounded in biblical truths.
We warmly invite you to join us in sharing the transformative message of the gospel of Christ. Together, we can reach and impact countless lives, for our true victory is found in Christ’s love and kindness.
