From House Church to Harvest: The Story of Hope of Heaven
Home / Blog
Learn how a simple house gathering sparked a growing movement of faith in Saskatchewan and beyond.
Every great work of God starts with a humble beginning. For Pastors Laxman and Heera Gurung, Hope of Heaven Church began in 2011 as a small Bible study in their home. With prayer, perseverance, and God’s leading, this gathering grew into a thriving church family with multiple locations.
Today, Hope of Heaven serves diverse communities in Regina, Saskatoon, and even Nepal. Pastor Laxman’s passion for God’s Word led him to pursue formal ministry training, receiving his license through the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada and earning a Divinity degree. Their shared vision? To reach the lost, restore broken lives, and spread the hope of Christ.
This is more than a church—it’s a movement. And you’re invited to be a part of it. Whether you’re just beginning your faith journey or looking for a place to grow deeper, Hope of Heaven Church welcomes you with open arms.
